To wear or not to wear? That is the question!!!

Hi all,

I need your assistance!

I am a Veteran of the U.S. Army, I served 20 years and I am proud of my service to my nation!
Veterans Day is coming up in a week and I am debating if I should wear my medals?

I have a total of 10 full size medals which I am authorized to wear and I have never warn them on civilian cloths for any holiday, but since moving to Sweden I feel like it would be a good thing for me to do.

What are your thoughts?

Should I go to work with my medals on my business jacket or not?

Please leave your comments below!
Thanks

Mark

  1. First of all, respect! Second, Swedes and Americans have served together on many operations, most recently in Afghanistan. I think you should wear them and create awareness about Veterans Day. I'm sure many of your colleagues will ask questions and be interested in what they medals stand for etc.

  2. Wear them, and wear them proudly. Thank you for your service!
